The “Memory Lines” Armchair is composed by a construction of lines drawn through cuts, seams, ribs and pleats, which create a rhythmic surface of lines and textures, a space of enjoyment that contains a sensory, eminently tactile character. Composed by 316 machine-sewn ribs, the lines emerge in the creative process, from a negative memory of the artist that materializes in a positivist becoming, thus transforming the negative into positive and the ugly into beautiful. Existing in this way a poetic nature inherent to each constructed object
