In cases of litigation, the consumer can appeal to an Alternative Litigation Resolution (ALR) entity.This ALR entity is authorized to mediate, conciliate and arbitrate the consumer type litigations in Portugal that are signed up to the entity ALR list as covered by the 144/2015 law.
